TICA registered exotic cat breeder">About Elite Hybrid Cats — TICA-Registered Exotic Hybrid Cattery

Elite Hybrid Cats is a TICA-registered exotic hybrid cattery with over 12 years of specialised breeding experience across Savannah cats, African Servals, Caracals, Chausies, and wild felid species. We are one of a small number of catteries in North America with documented expertise spanning the full spectrum from SBT-registered domestic Savannahs through HP F1 hybrids and USDA-permitted wild species. Our facility operates under full USDA oversight and state exotic animal permits, and every placement we make is compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.

We exist because we believe that the finest hybrid and exotic cats deserve the finest care and the finest homes — and that connecting extraordinary animals with extraordinary owners requires a level of expertise, transparency, and post-placement support that most breeders cannot provide. Over 12 years, we have placed kittens and exotic cats with clients across the United States and internationally, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Kingdom, and Europe.

What TICA Registration Means

The International Cat Association (TICA) is the world's largest genetic cat registry, maintaining studbook records for over 70 domestic cat breeds and hybrid breeds including the Savannah and Chausie. A TICA registration number confirms that a kitten's lineage is documented, pedigree-verified, and traceable through the association's centralised database. When we say we are TICA-registered, it means:

For buyers, TICA registration is the primary protection against misrepresented generations or fabricated lineage — it is the most reliable assurance that an F1 is genuinely F1 and not an F3 or unrelated hybrid.

Our Programme — 12 Years in Development

Building a programme capable of producing HP F1 Savannahs, silver variants, rare colour Servals, and USDA-permitted exotic species takes time — measured in years and litters, not months. Our foundation Savannahs carry some of the strongest Serval-lineage bloodlines available in North America, developed through careful selection over a decade-plus of breeding. Our Serval sires receive full exotic veterinary care from a specialist with zoo-medicine credentials, in enclosures designed to the standards of accredited facilities.

We do not produce high volumes. We produce a limited number of exceptional kittens each year — typically 30–50 Savannah kittens annually across all generations, plus a smaller number of wild species individuals. This intentional limitation ensures that every animal in our programme receives the care, time, and attention that distinguishes a world-class cattery from a high-volume operation.

What Sets Us Apart

Our Clients — USA & Dubai

Our clients include exotic animal collectors, veterinary professionals, wildlife educators, and families in the United States who simply fell in love with the Savannah breed and wanted the best. A substantial portion of our international placements go to the UAE — where a culture of exotic animal appreciation and the resources to provide world-class care have made Dubai and Abu Dhabi significant destinations for our finest kittens. We have strong relationships with exotic animal permit authorities in the UAE and work closely with Dubai-based exotic veterinary practices to support our Gulf clients.

Frequently Asked Questions — About Elite Hybrid Cats

How long has Elite Hybrid Cats been breeding?

We have been breeding exotic hybrid cats for over 12 years, beginning with Savannah cats and expanding to wild species breeding as our USDA permits and facilities developed. Our earliest Savannah breeding records trace to our original foundation queens, whose descendants remain in our active programme today.

Are you TICA registered?

Yes. Elite Hybrid Cats is a TICA-registered cattery. All our Savannah breeding queens, sires, and kittens are registered with The International Cat Association. Our registration can be verified through TICA's member search. Every kitten we produce receives individual TICA registration papers.

Are your animals health tested?

Yes. All breeding queens and sires are tested for: HCM (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy — annual echocardiogram), PRA (progressive retinal atrophy — DNA test), FIV/FeLV (annual), and general health screening by our exotic-specialist veterinarian. White individuals receive BAER hearing testing. DNA parentage verification is available on request.

Can I visit your facility?

Cattery visits are available by appointment for approved buyers who have completed our buyer application. We welcome visits and believe direct experience with our animals and facilities is the best way to understand the quality of our programme. We do not accommodate unannounced visits — both for the security of our animals and the safety of visitors who may encounter permitted wild species. Contact us to schedule an appointment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Questions & Answers

What is a cattery?

A cattery is a registered professional breeding facility where pedigreed or hybrid cats are bred, raised, and cared for under controlled conditions. Quality catteries are registered with organizations like TICA (The International Cat Association) or CFA. Elite Hybrid Cats is TICA-registered cattery #115454 specializing in Savannah cats and exotic hybrids since 2014, serving USA, Dubai, and worldwide.

How do you choose a reputable cattery?

Look for: (1) TICA or CFA registration — verifiable on official registry sites, (2) Health-tested parent cats (HCM, PKD, FIV/FeLV), (3) Kittens raised underfoot with proper socialization, (4) Vet exam and vaccinations before placement, (5) Written health guarantee (minimum 1 year), (6) Live video tours of facilities and parent cats, (7) Positive reviews and customer references. Elite Hybrid Cats meets all 7 criteria.

What does TICA registration mean for a cattery?

TICA (The International Cat Association) is the largest genetic registry for pedigreed cats globally. A TICA-registered cattery agrees to follow ethical breeding standards, maintain accurate pedigrees, and have its facilities and lineage records auditable. Elite Hybrid Cats (TICA #115454) can be verified at tica.org/cattery/elitehybrid/. TICA registration is the gold standard for hybrid and pedigreed cat breeding.

Where is Elite Hybrid Cats cattery located?

Elite Hybrid Cats operates internationally with placements serving USA, Dubai/UAE, EU, and worldwide. We do not offer in-person cattery visits to protect our breeding queens and kittens from disease exposure (this is standard practice for TICA Savannah catteries). Instead we provide live video walk-throughs, FaceTime sessions with kittens and parents, and daily photo/video updates after deposit.

How many cats live at Elite Hybrid Cats?

Elite Hybrid Cats maintains a small, carefully-managed population of 12–18 breeding cats at any time, including foundation African Servals, F1 Savannah queens, and F2/F3 Savannah dams. We deliberately keep numbers low to ensure each cat receives individual attention, proper socialization, and excellent veterinary care. We breed approximately 25–35 kittens per year total.
